The Stanley Jamb Cam™ Security Camera is a discrete, cost-effective solution to your customers' security and liability issues.
Mounted into the doorjamb at eye level, it can be positioned on the exterior or interior of the door and provides visual surveillance and/or identification at retail stores, airports and other high-security environments. Available as an option to customize Stanley automatic sliding doors or as a retrofit to competitors' doors, the Jamb Cam™ integrates into both digital and analog security systems.
Features and Benefits
The Stanley Jamb Cam™ offers full-sized features and benefits in a small package.
- Compact and discrete . The Jamb Cam™ 's small size and low profile make it hard to see and harder still to identify as a camera.
- Eye-level mounted . The camera is installed at a height of 54 inches, so it's well-positioned for viewing faces and activity in an entryway. Its eye-level perspective also makes for a superior image compared to overhead-mounted cameras.
- Flexible placement . Up to 4 cameras per door may be installed in any combination of surveillance and identification function. Cameras may be pointed inside (for exiting views) and/or outside (for entering views).
- Optimized view zone. The camera provides a viewing angle of 74 degrees (optimally selected) for the surveillance lens and 22 degrees (optimally selected) for the identification lens.
- Self-powered. The camera includes a power supply that is wired to the header's 120 VAC main power, so the camera stays on even when power to the door is off.
- Cost effective. The Jamb Cam™ is priced at a fraction of the cost of larger, overhead-mounted security cameras. Plus it's pre-mounted, eliminating camera installation costs.
- Weather resistant. Stanley tests their Jamb Cams to the extremes of temperature and humidity.
